Rumours with Roy to Premiere at Cannes 2024

Guess who's going to Cannes!

But the real question is, will Roy walk the red carpet? Out of Competition films do get a red carpet. It's also black tie.

Executive Producer Ari Aster said this to Deadline: “Rumours is stoopid and hilarious and wonderful, and it features the best cast ever assembled. The spirit of Buñuel and Monty Python and overwrought ’70s television (and of course the Maddin/Johnson sensibility, which has no real analogue) is alive and strange.”

The Cannes Film Festival runs from May 14 through May 25th.

The film will premiere Saturday, May 18th at a 10PM Gala Screening at the Grand Théâtre Lumière of the Palais des Festivals.
